At 44, I was ignoring my skin until perimenopause knocked on my door and said, 'Surprise!' After 22 happy years of marriage and raising two wonderful daughters, I woke up one morning, looked in the mirror and saw the tired state of my skin because I had been putting my self care on a back burner. Then I happened to stumble upon tallow over a year ago and figured, what did I have to lose at this point. I was skeptical at first—who wants to slather beef fat on their face? But now I’m kicking myself for not trying it sooner!
